Work Location: In-Office (DC Headquarters)

Job Type: Full-Time, Salary Exempt

Supervisory Responsibilities: No

Position Summary: The Investments Coordinator will manage administrative operations for the DCCC campaigns department and track investments for the DCCC. As a member of the Campaigns Department, this role will directly assist the Campaigns Operations Director and the Deputy Executive Director of the Campaigns Department with the internal operations for committee investments, along with other duties to aid in the overall operations of the department.

This position is part of a collective bargaining unit.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Day-to-day tracking of committee spending including:
  • Tracking and managing invoices, check requests, and all investment tracking documents;
  • Working with multiple directors and managers across the DCCC Campaigns Department to help facilitate requests, approvals, processing, and tracking of all investments from the DCCC to campaigns.
  • Managing the circulation of a large volume of investment information;
  • Maintaining the integrity and timely distribution of large amounts of critical information and data;
  • Support Campaigns Department staff with special projects;
  • Support Campaigns Operations Director with administrative functions to maximize efficiency across the Campaigns Department;
  • Manage the scheduling and calendar for the Deputy Executive Director;
  • Other duties as needed.
Requirements
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and other database systems;
  • Some previous political, campaign finance, compliance or accounting experience is preferred;
  • Attention to detail and self-motivation required;
  • Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple projects at once;
  • Superior time management, planning, organizational, and communications skills;
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude;
  • Draws from team members’ strengths, empowering them to maximize their talents; contributes where needed to achieve and exceed goals; mentors and guides colleagues with regular feedback and recognition; clearly lays out vision and expectations to the team

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) is the official national Democratic campaign committee charged with electing Democrats to the U. S. House of Representatives.
