Job Description

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: **Responsible for executing statewide organizing and electoral programs in individual regions across Oklahoma.
- Work to build local grassroots programs, including direct voter contact, volunteer recruitment and retention, development of training with county parties, and oversee testing of field techniques and tactics.
- Implement grassroots field tactics, including phone banks and canvasses, organizing community gatherings and local issues forums.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting and organizing follow-up of volunteers for further outreach activities.
- Train, coach and mentor Field Organizes, canvassers and volunteers in best practices for volunteer recruitment, retention and mobilization.
- Create specific accountability measures to identify areas of improvement. Ensure all voter contact data is entered into campaign data platform.
- Engage with local stakeholders and community organizations to build support.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES DESIRED: **At least two cycles of campaign experience. Strong working knowledge of VAN.
- Familiarity with Google Drive suite, especially Google Sheets.
- Proven ability to train.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate with staff, volunteers and local stake­ holders from a variety of backgrounds.
- Ability to maintain a level head in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Desire to create a welcoming environment for volunteers
