**WomenCount & Electing Women Alliance **
**National Groups Manager **
**Location: **Remote
**Job Type: **Full Time
**Reports To:** Director(s)
**Salary:** $75,000 to $90,000 commensurate with experience

**About WomenCount:**
[WomenCount](https://womencount.org/) and the [Electing Women Alliance](https://electingwomenalliance.org/) (EWA) work in partnership to close the political gender giving gap and inspire more donors to support Democratic women candidates. Our shared mission is to build communities of informed, intentional donors who come together to elect more women. Although there has been some progress in recent election cycles, women still make up only 28 percent of Congress and 24 percent of governorships. The US ranks 71st in the world for the percentage of women in elected office. And while women candidates rely more heavily on women donors, women make up only 38 percent of all donors.
WomenCount is an online donation platform that supports Democratic women up and down the ballot – from school board to president. EWA is a national network of giving groups that host in-person events for women running for US Senate, governor, and the White House. While WomenCount and EWA are separate efforts, they are integrated operatioally and through shared mission and vision.

**About the Position:**
The National Groups Manager is a new position that will have responsibilities primarily with EWA, which is currently expanding infrastructure to further support and grow existing giving groups and to start new groups. EWA is currently comprised of groups in Austin, Bay Area, Boston, Chicago, DC, Denver, Los Angeles, New Mexico, New York, Philadelphia, Seattle, St. Louis and Vail with new groups launching in Michigan and Nevada.
The National Groups Manager will work with the Director to develop a plan to support and help grow existing giving groups, the launch of pending new groups, and identify opportunities for new group locations. This role will include consistent, energetic communication with group leaders to share information and best practices and to field questions and receive input on group needs and interests. Additional responsibilities will include evaluating and upgrading the current portfolio of tools and resources offered to groups. This role will include strategic coordination with other team members, including the Engagement Manager, Development Manager, and Programs and Events Manager, to ensure that giving groups are provided with up-to-date materials, research, data and messaging and the tools to meet fundraising goals for candidates and to sustain and grow their groups.
The National Groups Manager position is an exciting opportunity for someone interested in the intersection of women’s organizations and electoral politics and the desire to strategically and creatively cultivate a powerful, dedicated and joyful community of women supporting women.

**Specific opportunities and responsibilities:**
- Work directly with the EWA director to develop and execute an effective and dynamic plan to support and grow existing giving groups and launch new groups;
