New Hampshire Climate Campaign Organizer

The New Hampshire Climate Campaign (NHCC) is seeking an organizer to build political will for bold action to address the climate crisis in New Hampshire. The organizer will identify, recruit, and engage impacted individuals, businesses, and stakeholders to make the case for state climate policy.

Responsibilities:

• Organize campaign events including in-district meetings and grassroots meetings

• Serve as the point of contact for grassroots volunteers and the New Hampshire Climate Campaign

• Encourage and prepare volunteers to urge candidates to prioritize climate policy

• Recruit grassroots signers and draft letters to the editor for submission

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently and in a dynamic coalition environment

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to represent the campaign professionally with volunteers and candidates

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

Applicants must be physically located in New Hampshire. The candidate must have access to a cell phone, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation.
