Job Title: Field Organizer

Reports to: Field Director

Location: Delaware

Overview: Delaware Lt. Gov. Bethany Hall-Long's Campaign for Governor is searching for

highly motivated and hardworking Field Organizers. Organizers will play a pivotal role in

implementing our field program and will have the opportunity to grow their political skills and

experience. This position will report to the campaign’s Field Director and will require working

nights and weekends.

Job Duties:

• Build and manage a team of local volunteers.

• Plan and participate in recurring phonebanks, door-to-door canvasses, and other voter contact

events.

• Connect and coordinate with local political groups.

• Assist in running the campaign’s internship program.

• Proactively identify and seize opportunities for community engagement and valuable

partnerships.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Previous organizing experience as an intern or fellow on a political campaign.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• The ability to reliably hit goals and clearly communicate any challenges or problems.

• Access to vehicle, laptop, and phone.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Field Organizer on a political campaign.

• Knowledge of Votebuilder/VAN.

• Familiarity with the political environment of Delaware.

• Language abilities outside of English.

Location: This position is based in Delaware within a reasonable commute to Newark, DE.

Salary: The monthly salary for this position is $3,500, with a healthcare stipend as needed.
