We are on a mission to find a very particular production assistant who hates to delegate. If you love to learn and solve problems, we’ve got a great opportunity you need to look into. Our agency has grown, and our team needs analytical talent reinforcements with multi-tasking capabilities to provide the high-quality services our clients expect from us.

As a Production and Post-Production Assistant, you’ll be the central hub for all the agency’s video production and post-production asset needs, including all broadcast and digital ads, snippets, and original and purchased content. You’ll be responsible for helping plan and execute the pre-production for film shoots, as well as searching, archiving, curating, and managing all of Moira’s assets including video, audio, and relevant written content among others.

Responsibilities

  • Research, collect, and tag/log assets for the post-production team

  • Assist in the pre-production and planning of film shoots

  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple demands

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and ensure that work is delivered on time

  • Flexible, receptive, and open to new procedures

  • Self-directed, detail-oriented, and a problem solver with a desire to contribute to a uniquely creative environment

Requirements

  • Must speak, read, and write English and Spanish fluently

  • Must live within the continental United States

  • MUST have at least 2 years experience in video production/post-production and/or journalism

  • Experience using Google Suite

  • Some knowledge of Adobe Premiere is preferred

  • Must be available to work weekends and evenings as needed

This is a contract position from August 5th to November 8th with a biweekly salary of $2,000. Overtime paid at time and a half. Please note that training will start before the your August 5th start date and will be paid at an hourly rate.

PLEASE NOTE: Some weekend/evening work will be necessary
