Sharice Davids for Congress is looking for field organizers!

Responsibilities:

• Recruit, train, and manage volunteers including but not limited to door-to-door canvassing, phone banking, voter registration and events.

• Build up a strong volunteer base for Get Out the Vote (GOTV) in November 2024.

• Develop and maintain a strong and trusting relationship with the county officials, candidates, volunteers, and partner organizations.

• Must be able to hit metric goals on a weekly and quarterly basis and work well under pressure

• Provide regular reports of voter contact and volunteer recruitment data to the Field Director.

• Other responsibilities as needed.

Requirements:

• Prior organizing experience preferred (paid, volunteer, or internship)

• A background in VoteBuilder and MiniVan is preferred.

• Full availability for the last two weeks before an Election is required.

• Ability to work long and unusual hours (some weekends and nights, especially leading up to the election).

• Detail oriented and comfortable to work in a fast paced environment.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team

• Access to a reliable vehicle and a valid drivers license. Travel is required.
