Regional Canvass Director

Metro Strategies is hiring regional canvass directors to oversee a canvassing programs in New York State. The regional canvass director will oversee a team of canvass directors and deputy canvass directors who are responsible for managing the individual canvass offices. Travel between canvass offices is expected on a regular basis.

Regional Canvass Director Responsibilities

• Assist in the recruitment process for district canvass directors and deputy canvass directors

• Assist in training district canvass directors and deputy canvass directors

• Serve as the direct supervisor for district canvass directors and deputy directors

• Provide support for district canvass directors and deputy directors

• Serve as a liaison between canvass directors and the senior leadership team

• Provide in-office support for canvass directors on an as needed basis

• Ensure that district canvass offices meet their metrics goals and providing reliable and accurate data

• Ensure that district directors are filling out their nightly reports

• Ensure that all payroll documents and hours are correctly submitted

Requirements

• At least 3 cycles of supervisory experience on political campaigns

• Proficiency in VAN/Votebuilder and MiniVan

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle

• Proficiency with Google Suite products
