Mikie Sherrill for Governor is seeking a Digital Content Manager to join our campaign digital team. This role is best suited for a jack-of-all-trades who is interested in assisting with all facets of campaign digital.

The ideal candidate for this role will be an organized self-starter with a passion for Democratic politics who wants to be creative and curious in pursuit of achieving the campaign's goals.

They must be able to learn on their feet and juggle multiple projects on tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Draft copy as needed, including for the campaign website, fundraising emails, and social media

• Work with stakeholders across departments to manage the approvals process

• Work closely with other members of the Digital team to manage the content calendar and identify opportunities to amplify the candidate’s message

• Assist with identification and outreach for non-traditional or non-political media opportunities

Qualification

• Excellent writing skills and the ability to communicate authentically in the candidate’s voice

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

• The ability and desire to work closely with a team and communicate effectively amid changing conditions

• Willingness to work long and irregular campaign hours, including some nights and weekends

• One (1) cycle of experience working in politics, preferably in a digital role

This is a full-time role will based in Bloomfield, NJ. New Jersey ties preferred but not required. Bilingual Spanish-language applicants are encouraged to apply.
