Ethan Corson, a lifelong Kansan and current State Senator, is running for Governor of Kansas. Ethan is endorsed by Governor Laura Kelly and this will be one of the most competitive gubernatorial races in the country. You can learn more about Ethan here.
The Deputy Finance Director will report to the Finance Director and play a critical role in supporting the fundraising operation. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented worker.
Key Responsibilities:

Work with the Finance Director to execute the fundraising program.

Oversee the execution of the events program including targeting, research, follow up, and event materials such as event trackers, invites, and memos.

Manage finance assistants, interns, and other staff as needed.

Staff fundraising events and meetings across Kansas.

Cultivate donor support to grow investment in the campaign, raise from their networks, host events, etc.

Provide nightly reports to the Finance Director.

Help oversee call time preparation, briefing materials, and follow-up tracking.

Assist with other campaign-related activities as needed.
Qualifications:

Two+ cycles of campaign finance experience; prior statewide or federal finance leadership strongly preferred.

Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding large fundraising goals.

Experience in a demanding events program that included event management and planning.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to juggle multiple high-priority projects without dropping deadlines.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Comfort with NGP 8 and advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.

Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends, as the campaign schedule demands.

Kansas ties or experience is a plus, but not necessary.
