A|L Media is seeking a mid-level Editor & Motion Designer (AI-Enabled) who combines strong traditional post-production skills with a working knowledge of emerging AI tools. This role is production-first—editing, pacing, and motion design come first, with AI used to enhance efficiency and execution. Remote.Key Responsibilities:- Edit short- and long-form video content with strong storytelling and pacing.- Design and execute motion graphics (e.g., After Effects); collaborate with producers/creatives.- Integrate AI tools (e.g., MidJourney, Nano Banana, Runway) into workflows where appropriate.- Handle color correction, sound syncing, and finishing; translate briefs into polished deliverables; manage multiple projects on tight timelines.Skills & Qualifications:- 1–4 years professional video editing experience.- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (or equivalent) and After Effects.- Solid understanding of storytelling/pacing, composition/visual hierarchy, basic color/audio editing.- Familiarity with AI video/image tools and incorporating AI into real production workflows.- Strong creative judgment, attention to detail; receptive to feedback; self-starter; interested in progressive politics.Benefits & Compensation:- Salary range $55,000–$70,000 depending on experience (through November 2026).- 401(k) with 3% employer contribution; health, dental, vision; remote-friendly; flexible hours; high-impact work.
