<div> <p><span lang="EN"></span></p> <p><span lang="EN">The Alabama Democratic Party is expanding our team in advance of the 2026 general election and is seeking multiple Regional Organizing Directors who thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. This position is full-time (approximately 50-60+ hours/week), and will require work during nontraditional hours (nights and weekends). The position will end on November 4, 2026 and will be paid out for the whole month of November. </span></p> <p><span lang="EN">Our initial Regional Organizing Directors will be based in Montgomery and Birmingham, with any possible future hirings being located in other targeted locations.</span></p> <p><span lang="EN">Description of Duties</span></p> <p><span lang="EN">● Recruiting, managing, and training volunteers for direct voter contact efforts. Regional Organizing Directors will be expected to knock doors and make recruitment calls everyday.</span><br><span lang="EN">● Working with the Organizing Director to plan and execute targeted race organizing plans.</span><br><span lang="EN">● Build relationships with existing Democratic Party infrastructure to conduct voter outreach and engagement.</span><br><span lang="EN">● Help train and manage a team of Deputy Field Organizers and Field Fellows.</span><br><span lang="EN">● Systematically identify and find solutions to meet training and material needs</span><br><span lang="EN">● Assist with local and regional on-site event operations.</span><br><span lang="EN">● Other duties as assigned.</span></p> <p><span lang="EN">Qualifications and Skills</span></p> <p><span lang="EN">● No prior campaign experience necessary to apply, but is preferred.</span><br><span lang="EN">● Solutions-oriented attitude and a willingness to engage in direct voter contact and volunteer recruitment every single day</span><br><span lang="EN">● Experience recruiting, training, and managing volunteers in some capacity preferred.</span><br><span lang="EN">● Excellent relationship building skills and strong knowledge of communities around the state of Alabama.</span><br><span lang="EN">● Demonstrated experience working and effectively developing leadership within underserved communities and communities of color.</span><br><span lang="EN">● Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders of diverse backgrounds and socio-economic levels.</span><br><span lang="EN">● Knowledge of Google Suite.</span><br><span lang="EN">● Excellent verbal, written, organizational and analytical skills.</span><br><span lang="EN">● A strong commitment to Democratic ideals and issues.</span></p> <p><span lang="EN">Logistics</span></p> <p><span lang="EN">● Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable mode of transportation and the ability to travel at times throughout the district for more than a day at a time.</span><br><span lang="EN">● Must have access to a working smartphone and laptop.</span></p> <p><span lang="EN">Salary &amp; Benefits</span></p> <p><span lang="EN">Compensation is $5,000 per month with health benefits at no cost to the employee.
