This role involves close collaboration with client leads, service teams, and external partners such as state lobby teams and PR/comms firms. You will be expected to anticipate needs, bring forward strategic ideas, and execute with precision.

  • Participate in client calls and meetings, providing thoughtful input and proactive follow-up support.
  • Draft client-facing materials including memos, reports, talking points, and other written deliverables.
  • Support the planning and execution of high level client events and stakeholder convenings by managing logistics, guest coordination, event materials, and on site operations.

Project Management & Execution

  • Track project workflows, deadlines, and deliverables across multiple client accounts.
  • Coordinate with creative, paid media, advocacy, and comms teams to ensure smooth execution of campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate task tracking and reporting dashboards.

Strategic Contributions

  • Conduct research on industries, issues, and policy developments to inform strategy.
  • Proactively identify opportunities or solutions to advance client goals.
  • Develop ideas for campaign strategies, messaging, and rapid response communications.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work seamlessly across internal service teams and external partners.
  • Provide clear updates on project status and flag potential challenges early.
  • Support rapid response needs and deliver under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in communications, public affairs, policy advocacy, digital strategy, or related fields.
  • Strong writing, research, and communication skills.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently when needed.
  • Quick thinker who can adapt to changing priorities and fast-moving environments.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and problem-solving mindset.
  • Comfortable collaborating with diverse stakeholders (corporate clients, associations, lobbyists, PR/communications teams).
  • Ability to work extended hours if/when needed and comfortable being available outside of normal business hours for urgent requests.

Compensation
