Role
We are seeking a Senior Video Editor to join our Creative team. This role is designed for a skilled visual storyteller who can produce compelling, performance-driven video content across a range of formats and campaign types. The Senior Video Editor will work closely with creative, strategy, and paid media teams to bring scripts and concepts to life, while executing rapid-response edits that meet the fast-moving demands of advocacy, political, and public affairs campaigns. The ideal candidate is technically fluent, creatively sharp, and thrives in a high-speed environment where quality and urgency go hand in hand.
Responsibilities
Video Production & Creative
- Produce engaging, high-quality video creative designed to drive action across a range of formats, including paid social advertising, TV, explainer videos, and direct-to-camera fundraising content.
- Source and combine stock, found, and custom footage to build compelling narratives that resonate with target audiences.
- Bring scripts to life with a strong editorial instinct, translating written concepts into polished, effective video executions.
Rapid Response & Execution
- Execute fast-turnaround video edits, including clipping, captioning, and DTC formatting, in response to real-time campaign and communications needs.
- Maintain quality and strategic intent under tight deadlines in a high-speed environment.
Collaboration
- Work closely with fellow video editors, animators, and designers to produce cohesive creative across campaigns.
- Partner with strategy teams to ensure video outputs align with client goals and campaign messaging.
Qualifications
Base Qualifications
- Fluency in Adobe Premiere Pro with a portfolio demonstrating top-tier editing skills across multiple video formats.
- Strong ability to interpret scripts and translate them into compelling video content with minimal direction.
- Familiarity with video AI and automation tools, with a curiosity and readiness to experiment with emerging technologies in the space.
- Light animation skills with the ability to add motion elements that enhance video storytelling.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities and urgent turnaround needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience producing video creative for paid media campaigns, with an understanding of performance-driven creative principles.
- Background in political campaigns, issue advocacy, or public affairs video production.
- Working knowledge of After Effects and Frame.io.
Nice to Have
- Experience with on-site video production.
Compensation
Base Salary Range: $75,000-$100,000

Hybrid role in Washington D.C. or New York City. Remote available for the right candidate.
