Job Description:

The general content specialist is someone who first and foremost views themselves as both a writer and artist. They must have strong visual thinking skills and the ability to transform concepts into both written and visual mediums.

While this job is not that of a designer, they will work closely with the art department to make sure ads, graphics, and videos are executed according to program strategy and client brand. They must be able to adapt copy to a variety of different mediums and platforms and understand the strengths of each channel.

Salary: $72,000-$84,000

Responsibilities:

• Advertising, graphic writeups and texting copy for orgs and advocacy integrated clients, marquee paid media political clients, and script writing
• Serve as a backstop for department leaders on marquee clients
• Assist with rapid response copy as needed
• Assist with internal approvals as needed
• Strategic communications strategy and copy as needed

Background Skills Needed:

• Prior script writing experience preferred
• Fundraising copy experience not required but helpful
• Must have demonstrated capacity to think visually and communicate in short form writing across various mediums and platforms
