BCom is a fast-growing, digital-first marketing agency that amplifies purpose-driven ideas to create lasting impact. We partner with campaigns, causes, and brands to do work that matters in all digital and creative solutions. As we work toward ambitious growth goals, we want driven, strategic thinkers who are committed to doing great work and building something meaningful together.

As a Digital Creative Intern, you’ll bring your unique creative skills to help tell powerful stories. Whether your strengths are in graphic design, video, web design, UI/UX development, or another creative medium, there’s space here for you to contribute and grow. You’ll collaborate with the Creative Team on real client projects, assist in producing digital content, and learn how creative work moves from concept to execution. This internship is designed to adapt to your interests and abilities — a chance to apply what you do best while exploring new creative territory.

At BCom, we take pride in delivering top-tier work while showing up for each other. With our mission at the forefront, we center honesty, collaboration, and meaningful relationships in everything we do. If you’re looking to grow with a team rooted in purpose and committed to impact, we would like to meet you.

Experience, Skills and Competencies

  • Current college student or recent graduate (all majors welcome; relevant fields include digital media, design, video production, advertising/PR or marketing)
  • Portfolio or samples of creative work — academic, freelance, or personal projects are all welcome
  • Understanding of visual or narrative fundamentals such as layout design, videography, typography, composition, coding, or storytelling
  • Proficiency in at least one creative tool or platform (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Web builders like Squarespace or Framer, etc.)
  • Detail-oriented and open to feedback
  • Comfortable collaborating and learning new skills on the job
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace, Asana, or WordPress is a plus — not a requirement

Primary Areas of Responsibility

As a BCom intern, you won’t be sitting on the sidelines. You’ll get hands-on experience contributing to meaningful work for clients across sectors who are leading change, shaping narratives, and driving impact.

Depending on your skill set, you may:

  • Design digital assets for email, social media, or branding
  • Edit short-form videos or motion graphics
  • Support web design, layout, or content updates
  • Assist in photo or video shoots
  • Contribute ideas in brainstorms and creative reviews
  • Prepare, organize, and version creative assets for delivery
  • Support internal brand and marketing needs such as templates or social content

Every intern’s experience is shaped around their strengths and goals. This is a flexible, exploratory role built to help you grow your craft in real-world work.

All successful applicants must align with BCom’s company values which include:

One boat, one mission. We row in the same direction to serve the mission of our company. Do good for our clients and for each other. Collaborate in a way that eases the workload and burden for everyone. Our collective effort is greater than the sum of its parts.

Win the tough fights. Outcomes matter. We keep our clients and their success and goals at the front of everything we do. Purpose-driven work is edgy, fast-paced and challenging. We fight to win every day.

Be present. To win, you have to compete. To compete, you have to show up. We show up for our teammates, for our clients, and for our communities.

Relationships matter. We forge meaningful connections with our clients, our teammates, and the communities we serve — from our founding in rural America to the halls of the nation's capital.

Be honest. We tell the truth with our clients and with each other. We’re honest about our work and the way we do it. Honesty is easy – and convenient – when things are working. It’s hard – but required – when things are tough.

This position can be remote or based in Lincoln, NE.

Starting rate: $15/hr. All interns must have availability to work 20-30 hours per week with flexible scheduling to account for coursework and other commitments.
