Account Managers at BCom serve as the strategic architect for our clients, playing a pivotal role in managing client relationships, identifying growth opportunities, guiding interdisciplinary processes, and overseeing project management or their respective accounts.

Your leadership will guide interdisciplinary teams including strategy, paid media, fundraising, creative, web development, and traditional communications to facilitate and deliver cohesive solutions that align with client objectives. As a key part of our agency's service team, your vision and direction will be instrumental in molding effective team coordination and achieving sustained success for our clients.

Experience, Skills and Competency Requirements

  • Prior experience in account management, particularly within a digital or integrated marketing agency, with a minimum of 2-3 years preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of digital marketing and creative workflows.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities for managing client relationships and expectations.
  • Experience in leading and working alongside diverse teams in a collaborative and respectful manner.
  • Problem-solving proficiency and the ability to manage and execute complex projects successfully.
  • Flexibility to move between different project areas as needed.
  • A strong background in developing and implementing strategic plans that drive client success and business growth.
  • Proven leadership skills with the capability to direct cross-functional teams.
  • Skillful in project management, capable of juggling multiple projects with attention to detail.
  • A strategic and innovative approach to cultivating opportunities within client relationships.
  • Experience with training, coaching, and mentoring junior-level employees.
  • Experience with project management tools like Asana, Monday, etc. preferred but not required.

Primary Areas of Responsibility

  • Lead the strategic direction of accounts, ensuring that all service teams collaborate effectively to produce cohesive and impactful results.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building trust and maintaining solid relationships.
  • Play a critical role in business development through client upselling and nurturing the growth of clients' businesses.
  • Ensure that all client projects adhere to set timelines and that the agency produces high-quality work at a quick pace.
  • Work closely with team members to facilitate project management, removing roadblocks and ensuring smooth execution of tasks.
  • Discern when to bring in specialists to augment the team's capabilities and enhance project outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients, providing clarity and becoming the main point of contact for all service areas included in the contract.

The salary range for this position is $56,000 - $70,000. This his position can also be remote or based in our Lincoln, NE headquarters.
