They will also provide administrative and project management support to the National Organizing Director. They coordinate across the organizing battleground departments to ensure alignment of priorities and action steps. They will provide critical support for engaging others into the department's activities during GOTV to scale voter engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Manage reporting on short- and long-term projects to organizational leadership and key external stakeholders
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and internal communication norms for the department.
- Organize, optimize, and facilitate team meetings as needed, especially standing collaboration opportunities.
- Recognize and own projects that cross teams within the department
- Effectively communicate successes and priorities of the national organizing program as an internal spokesperson for the department.
- Coordinate and manage the candidate's daily schedule, including meetings, events, interviews, and campaign activities.
- Work closely with the National Organizing Director to prioritize and plan their schedule, including anticipating scheduling conflicts and proactively finding solutions.
- Other duties as assigned to support the department and the DNC's mission.

- 5+ years of relevant experience
- You have superb organizational skills and ability to effectively and efficiently manage multiple projects at once in high-pressure environments– and to build systems to do so.
- You’ve got a keen sense of political judgment, especially when it comes to dealing with external partners, internal leadership, and surrogates.
- You love building a high-performing culture and driving change– and are comfortable leaning into tension when needed to do so.
- Kindness and building relationships is core to how you lead.
- You have experience working with individuals at every level of an organization, and managing projects across levels
- You are incredible at managing a calendar and supporting a leader.
- Travel Required: Low, 10%
Salary: The starting salary for this position is $90,000, on an annualized basis, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This is a full-time position that may require work on weekends and has an end date of November 15, 2024. This is an exempt position.
