Description

We are looking for an entry-level to early-career Senior Associate Data Analyst to join our team and help scale our data capabilities through advanced reporting, dashboarding, and automation. Working cross-functionally with our strategists and developers, this person will transform raw data from platforms like Google Ads and Facebook into automated, high-impact solutions that drive smarter buying decisions for our diverse client base.

The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical data work and digital marketing strategy, helping our team to optimize marketing tech stacks and build seamless data pipelines to improve reporting accuracy. We are seeking a recent graduate or early-career professional with a strong grasp of SQL and Excel.

This is a temporary position through November 30, 2026 and includes outplacement assistance. Cycle-hire employees who are interested will have the opportunity to apply for a limited number of permanent positions at the conclusion of this role.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Clean and analyze data using SQL and Excel/Google Sheets to provide ad-hoc calculations Clean and analyze data using SQL to provide the basis for ad-hoc analysis and dashboards.
  • Create dashboards accurately representing ad performance in Looker studio
  • Troubleshoot "messy" data by developing novel, flexible solutions when working with imperfect tech stacks or unorganized tables.
  • Bridge the gap between technical and non-technical teams by explaining concepts like API limitations or SQL logic to strategists and clients.
  • Maintain high data integrity by tracking down discrepancies and performing rigorous quality checks.
  • Manage competing priorities by balancing immediate client needs with long-term infrastructure and data improvements.
  • Partner cross-functionally with developers and strategy teams to ensure data solutions align with overall business goals.
Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1+ year(s) of professional experience
  • Intermediate SQL proficiency, including the ability to join data sources, filter, group, and perform validation checks.
  • Advanced Spreadsheet skills (Excel/Google Sheets) for data cleaning and reporting.
  • Experience on collaborative projects with a proven ability to communicate technical ideas to non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Any experience with these tools is a bonus:

  • dbt (data build tool)
  • BigQuery/Snowflake
  • Looker Studio (or similar BI tools like Tableau)
  • Python or R
  • Git / Command Line
  • Technical Writing/Documentation

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary: $5,833-$6,666 per month
  • +$7,500 election bonus paid at end of cycle
  • + an additional end-of-cycle performance bonus (based on company and individual performance).
