Political Coordinator - Pete Aguilar for Congress

House Democratic Caucus Chair Pete Aguilar is seeking a highly motivated Political Coordinator based in the San Bernardino area. The Political Coordinator will focus on growing the Congressman’s political outreach program in the Inland Empire and support the Finance team.
Responsibilities:
- Attending local political and community events with and on behalf of the Congressman
- Managing intake, tracking and responding to endorsement, special guest, local charitable gift and event sponsorship requests
- Coordinating volunteer mobilization efforts to support candidates and causes in Southern California
- Conducting research, compiling memos and preparing materials for political meetings and events
- Supporting the Finance Team with local donor outreach
Required Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A high level of attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- A team player who takes a collaborative and thoughtful approach to working with others
- A motivated self-starter with an eagerness to learn more about community outreach and political organizing
- Proficiency with Google Workspaces, Google Calendar, and Microsoft Excel
Preferred Skills:
- Prior campaign organizing experience (including internships and fellowships)
- Familiarity with PDI, VAN, and/or other Democratic organizing platforms
- Familiarity with Canva or other graphic design tools
- Familiarity with the Inland Empire and Southern California
Reports to: National Finance Director
Location: Redlands, California
Compensation: $55,000/year
