The GOTV Vote Mobilization Specialist will play a crucial role in our mission by directly engaging voters in key states to maximize turnout during one of the most important election cycles of our time. You will help empower citizens to participate in democracy and support progressive causes by increasing voter participation and ensuring that every voice is heard.

What You Will Do:
- Execute daily texting for Get-Out-The-Vote (GOTV) programs with specific hourly goals across various campaigns
- Send texts to voters, encouraging them to participate in upcoming elections and providing essential voting information
- Answer voter questions via text, ensuring they can cast their ballots safely and correctly
- Collaborate with dedicated teams of activists, volunteers, volunteer leaders, and staff to support turnout efforts
- Engage with voters in critical states to maximize turnout and Democratic participation
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and upbeat culture within the service center
About You:
- Located and eligible to work in the United States
- Have access to a computer, laptop, or tablet with internet access
- Experience in civic engagement, political campaigns, or volunteer management
- Passionate about leveraging technology and data products to help Democratic candidates run for office and win, empower progressive causes, and increase civic participation
- Committed to building an equitable democracy and fostering inclusive engagement
- Able to manage flexible schedules and commit to working 10, 15, 20, or 30-hour weeks during the critical period from October 21 to November 5, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Comfortable with texting programs and voter engagement tools
- Committed to leveraging technology and data products to help Democratic candidates run for office and win, empower progressive causes, and increase civic participation
- Conversational Spanish, Chinese, Hindi, Korean, Vietnamese, Punjabi, or Bengali are a plus but not required
Compensation and Classification:
- This is a short-term contractor position. Position begins October 21, 2024 and ends November 5, 2024, with potential to extend.
- $20/hour.
- Hours will vary each week and will be based upon demand. Able to manage flexible schedules and commit to working 10, 15, 20, or 30-hour weeks during the critical period from October 21 to November 5, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- This position is fully remote.
