Why Concord Direct: You’ll feel good about the work you’re doing at Concord Direct. Our passion is to help nonprofits exceed their goals, grow their programs year-over-year, and help more people, animals, and habitats. Our team of experienced direct marketers has helped us evolve into a robust agency partner for nonprofits that want to generate fundraising results. As an employee, you’ll be proud of the work you’re doing to drive positive change in the world by empowering the work of our nonprofit clients. About This Position: We are seeking an experienced Account Director to join our fundraising agency. As a team leader, you’ll be responsible for building strong, long-term client relationships while representing the collective expertise and perspectives of the agency. Your confident leadership of teams focused on complex, multichannel direct response fundraising programs will help to balance strategic vision with day-to-day progress, while also identifying opportunities for program growth. You’ll align priorities, strategies, channel touchpoints, and execution details while fostering highly effective collaboration and shared ownership of outcomes. This is not an individual contributor or project management role; it is a leadership position focused on driving strategic understanding, unifying teams and individuals, and exerting positive influence. This role manages client expectations and confirms delivery within scope while recognizing opportunities to drive growth and long-term client satisfaction. Responsibilities include: Serve as the account team leader for complex, multichannel direct response fundraising programs; provide decision leadership across client programs; lead effective high-quality service delivery within scope; unify cross-functional teams; own proactive problem-solving and risk management; partner closely with strategists to guide planning and interpret performance; communicate with clarity, confidence, and influence. Are you the one we’re looking for? 6+ years of fundraising agency or nonprofit program experience in digital direct response marketing; exceptional communication and presentation skills; excellent problem-solving abilities; strong initiative and curiosity; ability to manage competing projects in a fast-paced environment; proven success growing programs preferred. Digital Programs: Strong fluency in digital marketing programs (email, web, texting, paid media); fluency across digital platforms, analytics tools, and marketing technology stacks; ability to facilitate directional conversations between clients and internal technical, data, and digital teams. Direct Mail Programs: Experience guiding direct mail strategy and providing informed oversight of execution; strong understanding of print, data processing, and mailing workflows. Location and Benefits: We welcome applications from candidates across the country. The person in this role will be interacting daily with people who are 100% remote, and we welcome more full-time remote employees. Though we support flexible schedules, it’s important to note that our clients are largely based in Eastern Time. We are headquartered in Concord, NH and have employees across all four U.S. time zones. Additionally, there will be some limited travel to conferences and in-person client meetings required. We offer a competitive salary, a casual and collaborative work environment, and a comprehensive benefits package including: Paid time off, paid holidays, and paid volunteer time; Health insurance with dental plan and vision discount program; Company wellness program, company-funded Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) and HSA/Flex spending account; Life insurance and short-term disability insurance; Values-led rewards and recognition program. Culture Matters: Diversity, Equity and Inclusion: At Concord Direct, we believe that it takes diversity of thought, culture, background, and perspective to develop the most powerful and successful solutions for our nonprofit clients. Guided by our company values—curiosity, commitment, collaboration, community, integrity and innovation—we work to foster an environment where people thrive because of their differences, not in spite of them. We aspire to be more diverse, and welcome applicants from all walks of life. If you believe you exemplify our values and want to help us build a more inclusive, diverse and equitable work environment, we encourage you to apply. Ready to Apply?
