The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) is the official national Democratic campaign committee charged with electing Democrats to the U. S. House of Representatives. The DCCC recruits Democratic candidates and supports Democratic campaigns – both challengers and Democratic incumbent Members – with a variety of services including field operations, fundraising support, communications assistance, digital strategy, research support and management consulting. The DCCC is supported by the contributions of individuals and organizations, along with Democratic Members, from throughout the country. Due to the cyclic nature of our organization, all positions are subject to separation at the end of the election cycle.

Position Summary:

The Campaigns Operations Coordinator manages the administrative and logistical lifecycle of the execution of committee investments for the DCCC and provides critical support to the Campaigns Operations Director and Deputy Executive Director. The Coordinator ensures that all product approvals, documentation, and compliance requirements are met with precision before transitioning to the Accounting department for execution. This is a high-volume role requiring exceptional organizational oversight and proactive scheduling within a fast-paced political environment.

This position is part of a collective bargaining unit.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of internal products through the multi-departmental approval process to ensure all documentation is complete and audit-ready before payment
  • Coordinate and maintain calendars, including scheduling approval meetings, departmental briefings, and internal project deadlines
  • Track day-to-day committee spending and manage the internal documentation for invoices, check requests, and various investment tracking logs
  • Assist with the tracking of TV competitive data and ad buys to ensure the committee maintains an accurate and real-time understanding of the media landscape
  • Ensure the integrity and timely distribution of high-volume, sensitive data and investment information across the committee’s internal tracking platforms
  • Collaborate closely with the Accounting department to ensure vendor payments accuracy and perform regular tracking and reconciliation of the budget
  • Assist in the creation and organization of materials for presentations, briefings, and meetings
  • Provide logistical and administrative support for special projects and other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Previous experience in political campaigns, finance, compliance, or accounting is preferred but not required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, including the ability to manage complex spreadsheets and maintain high levels of data integrity
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and navigate logistical hurdles by identifying creative, efficient solutions
  • Exceptional attention to detail and self-motivation, with the ability to ensure accuracy in financial and legal documentation without constant supervision
  • Ability to learn and understand complex processes and procedures
  • Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously within a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
  • Superior time management and organizational skills, specifically the ability to plan ahead for deadlines and election-cycle surges
