The Democratic National Committee seeks an Influencer Coordinator to join the Mobilization (digital) team. In this role, you will initiate and manage day-to-day operations of engaging and enabling Creators and Influencers who want to support the Democratic Party in the 2024 presidential election. The ideal candidate for this role is terminally online, understands creator culture, obsessed with politics, speaks Spanish, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Identify Spanish-speaking or Latino influencers who are relevant to target voters, create and track campaigns, negotiate contracts, and report back on successes.
  • Stay up to date on creator and influencer culture and provide recommendations to leadership.
  • Work collaboratively with your team and cross-functional partners to identify outreach opportunities to scale participation.
  • Work with communications and research teams to develop materials and toolkits for creators.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in the video, media, and/or entertainment industry working with agencies, creators, or digital media companies.
  • Must be fluent in both written and spoken Spanish.
  • Experience in digital or community organizing is preferred but not required.
  • Proven experience in content creation and strategy, particularly within TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • You are organized and able to prioritize multiple projects moving at different speeds in a deadline-driven environment.
The starting salary for the Spanish-Language Influencer Coordinator position is $55,000 on an annualized basis, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
This is a full-time, exempt position, which means you will not be eligible for overtime pay for hours worked in excess of 40 in a given workweek, and has an end date of November 15, 2024.
