About the Role
The Democratic Party of Georgia seeks a talented, passionate, and eager professional for the role of Finance Assistant for the 2026 cycle based out of DPG headquarters in Atlanta, GA. The Finance Assistant will work closely with the Finance Director and Deputy Finance Director to ensure that our in-state finance operation is strong and assist with our national fundraising efforts when needed. Specifically, the Finance Assistant will:
Role Overview
- Staff the Democratic Party of Georgia Chair during call time and at select fundraising events
- Prospect potential donors and prepare call sheets for call time
- Compose first drafts of donor memos
- Compose and monitor donor follow-up with in-state donors
- Compose first draft of monthly donor newsletter
- Manage writing and sending quarterly thank-you letters
- Assist in building out the in-state events program
- Help update and maintain donor information in NGP
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- At least 1 cycle of political fundraising experience preferred
- Identifying and cultivating new and existing relationships with donors and prospects
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple ongoing projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with NGP and ActBlue preferred
- Experience with Google Suite preferred

Salary & Benefits:
The Democratic Party of Georgia offers a competitive salary and benefit package that is commensurate with experience. This is a cycle position with an end date in November 2026.
