Overview
The Georgia 2026 Coordinated Campaign is seeking Senior Associates to join its Voter Access team. Senior Associates will help ensure that every eligible Georgia voter can cast a ballot and have that ballot counted. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver and team player who is passionate about voting rights, has experience coaching and managing volunteers, and is committed to electing Democrats at every level of government across the state. We welcome applicants with a variety of backgrounds and experiences. Senior Associates will work alongside the Voter Access Director (VPD), Deputy Voter Access Directors (DVPDs), and other partners to design and execute a comprehensive, data-driven program that anticipates and resolves election administration challenges, expands poll watcher and other volunteer programs, educates voters about their voting rights and opportunities, and ensures that every eligible ballot cast is counted. Senior Associates will be assigned specific areas of responsibility, but will get exposure across all aspects of the Georgia Voter Access program.
What You’ll Do
- Senior Associates will support the Georgia Voter Access leadership in the following areas:
- Recruit, train, and organize volunteer leaders to serve as county liaisons, poll watchers, and other voter access roles;
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including election administration officials, elected officials, community leaders, and volunteers;
- Monitor developments in local election administration and lead advocacy efforts to proactively expand voting access;
- Identify and resolve obstacles encountered by voters, ranging from individual problems to those with wide-scale implications;
- Develop expertise on state voting and election administration law and collaborate closely with partners to ensure voters have easy access to accurate information on where, when, and how to vote;
- Support voter education efforts, including creating and reviewing materials and engaging with local organizations; and
- Additional duties as assigned by the Voter Access Director and Deputy Voter Access Directors.
Who You Are
- The Georgia Voter Access program is looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- At least 1 cycle of experience working in voter protection, or at least 1 cycle of experience working in organizing or other campaign roles, is preferred.
- Demonstrated commitment to voting rights, voter access, and electing Democrats at every level of government.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate complex information into clear operational guidance (for volunteers, staff, and internal stakeholders).
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Good judgment and ability to solve problems under pressure; comfortable working in fast-paced environments with shifting timelines and priorities.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders including election officials, party leaders, volunteers, and coalition partners.
- Willingness to work long and irregular hours (nights/weekends) as Election Day approaches and during early vote and Election Day operations.
- The preferred candidate will be proficient with Votebuilder/NGPVAN, spreadsheets and other productivity tools found in Google Workspace Suite/MS Office, and Mailchimp/other email marketing tools (or possess demonstrated ability to learn quickly).
- A racial justice perspective on voter access issues, with emphasis on voter suppression’s disproportionate impact on communities of color, as well as how we operate internally at DPG.
This is a full-time, in-person position based in Atlanta, Georgia. Senior Associates will be onboarded in two waves starting in early June and July.

Salary & Benefits
This position is salaried at $5,500 per month, with employer-sponsored health, dental, and vision insurance. This position’s schedule will vary based on the needs of the campaign and will require evening and weekend work over the course of the election cycle.
