The Democratic Party of Georgia is seeking Get Out The Vote (GOTV) organizers for the 2026 Georgia Coordinated Campaign. GOTV Organizers will be the Democratic Party of Georgia’s on-the-ground messengers. They will use a variety of tactics to persuade and mobilize voters, recruit volunteers, and engage and mobilize communities across Georgia. GOTV Organizers will have the opportunity to build teams across the state to have the face to face conversations we need in order to win! Applicants of all professional backgrounds and experience levels who are passionate about electing Democrats up and down the ballot are the exact folks we need on our team. This position is full time, in-person, based in specific areas throughout the state of Georgia, and will report to the Out of State Director.

Responsibilities

• Engage in direct voter contact by knocking on doors and making phone calls
• Recruit, train, and manage volunteers and volunteer leaders to conduct direct voter contact and execute a large-scale Get-Out-The-Vote effort
• Recruit, train, and manage Out of State volunteers who want to travel to Georgia to support GOTV efforts
• Hit daily and weekly metric goals for voter contact and volunteer engagement
• Other responsibilities as assigned by the Out of State Director or Organizing Director

Required Qualifications

• Ready to adapt and be flexible during the campaign to meet team goals and objectives
• Willing and able to work in person in the field office and in the community you are assigned
• Willing and able to communicate with voters and volunteers at the doors, over the phone, and at in person events
• Must be able to work in-person in the assigned region in Georgia
• Commitment to electing Democrats up and down the ticket in Georgia
• At least one cycle of organizing experience preferred
• Must have access to a cell phone, laptop, and reliable transportation

Compensation and Location

This is a full-time position and runs until November 15th, 2026. GOTV Organizers report to the Out of State Director and Organizing Director and work in-person in Georgia. Field Organizers will be paid a base hourly rate of $18.11 per hour and paid $27.17 (1.5x the base rate) per hour for every hour worked over 40 hours in a single workweek.
