The Democratic Party of Oregon is hiring a top-quality Mail Program Coordinator for its campaign’s important races in 2026 including our Congressional and Statewide Races, as well as state legislative and local offices. We will be accepting applications and interviewing until the position is filled, for a target start date of August 17th, 2026.

An ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented and a responsible self-starter who is eager to work on this historic campaign cycle and who is willing to adapt to a changing campaign climate.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Provide coordination and support for the Democratic Party of Oregon Coordinated Campaign direct mail program focused on State House & State Senate races, Statewide Races and general mail for the State Party.
  • Monitors and tracks all aspects of mail program; production, compliance, approval, budget, payments for postage and production, and archival record-keeping.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and vendors to ensure all project deadlines are met on time.
  • Maintains spreadsheets and other digital records to track invoices, budget, financial, data management, and compliance requirements.
  • Reviews all bills working with the Compliance Director.
  • Produces and distributes in-kind notifications.
  • Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to voter outreach responsibilities.

  • Ability to handle multiple priority projects and meet established timelines.
  • Ability to meet strategic goals and work effectively with regional and local leaders.
  • Persistent, professional, and detail-oriented in obtaining information and documentation needed to support organizational operations and reporting requirements.
  • Reliable access to a vehicle.
  • Experience working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Please note, this position is a campaign cycle position. You will be expected to work at least 40 hours per week, but may work as many as 60 hours a week as we get closer to election day. This job will require evening and weekend work. All employees will have a guaranteed 1 day off per week between September and Election Day, and two days off per week after Election Day through the end of the contract.

This is a full-time exempt position. The position comes with a minimum starting salary of $4,553 per month, with higher compensation possible for the right combination of skills and experience. Benefits include fully paid health, vision, and dental coverage, and mileage reimbursement for qualifying travel. Coordinated Campaign staff will receive a stipend for phone and home internet access, and technology support will be provided as needed. This position is represented by the Campaign Workers Guild.

This is not a remote position, and the applicant must be an Oregon resident or be willing to establish Oregon residency for the duration of employment.
