Location: Milwaukee, WI (Please note: Employment with the Democratic Party of Wisconsin requires residence or willingness to relocate to the state of Wisconsin.)

The Opportunity: As a Coalitions Manager, you will have the opportunity to maintain and grow long-term programming to build long-term organizing power in underrepresented communities for the 2024 Presidential cycle. This role will primarily consist of conducting individual outreach to established networks and reaching out to new stakeholders, hosting regular coalition events and actions, and attending community events on behalf of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin. The end goal of these responsibilities is to create long-term engagement and activism through our coalition's labor program.

Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute Coalition-focused outreach plans for the Labor coalition, engaging workers across Wisconsin.
- Work with the Coordinated Deputy Political Director to determine best practices in organizing specific communities across the state of Wisconsin including additional outreach portfolios as needed.
- Host recurring meetings with community leaders across the state
- Provide support to assigned constituency Caucuses and execute efforts to recruit and build volunteer leadership in assigned Coalitions
- Engage with labor leaders and rank-and-file membership through building a presence at training, worksite visits, meetings, and other events.
- Host Voter Education Events to strengthen relationships and engage new community members
- Increase Democratic presence and engagement by implementing high-traffic canvassing and other tactics while attending community events, and festivals
- Advise and execute Coalition-specific relational organizing and volunteer recruitment and engagement programs in-person and digitally
- Collaborate with our Organizing Department to establish phone banks and Coalition-specific community canvasses
- Maintain and build organized statewide lists of contacts for outreach, storyteller, and surrogate engagement
- Actively seek opportunities to include historically marginalized voices in DPW programming and local elected policy initiatives
- Provide context for memos and briefings for principals and high-level surrogates
- Manage direct reports in all aspects of their work and support their success in the role by conducting relevant coaching conversations, providing and receiving feedback, and creating an inclusive and engaging team culture. More specific tasks could include but are not limited to:
- Managing and reviewing time off requests
- Hiring new team members
- Having constructive conversations with team members on performance
- Building rapport and trust within your team
- Leading projects and delegating tasks
- On-year requirements include working outside of normal work hours; including canvassing and other election preparation as necessary
