Job description
Position: Tracker/Research Assistant Location: Remote (Florida) Reports to: Executive Director, Communications Director Schedule: Full-time Start/End Date: April – November 2026 Compensation: $4,500/month The Tracker/Research Assistant is an important part of Florida Democratic Party (FDP) efforts to hold Republican Senate candidates accountable. A successful tracker/research assistant will be highly motivated, able to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate attention to detail, and possess excellent communication skills. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Monitoring, capturing, and cataloging events, interviews, fundraisers, and other events held or participated in by Republican Senate candidates, including but not limited to the timely production of reports analyzing the events’ substance. • Maintain and update archive of Republican Senate candidate appearances, schedules, and other activities over the course of the campaign. • Provide support for FDP’s Senate research and communications rapid response and accountability efforts. Ideal qualifications for Tracker/Research Assistant include but are not limited to: • Prior political experience preferred. Experience with non-political research methods will also be considered. • Willingness and ability to travel independently and attend events within Florida • Tracker/Research Assistant must be able to work independently and exercise discretion in making significant decisions in partnership with FDP with regard to the development and prioritization of research materials.
