About the Position

Grossman Solutions is seeking a Senior Associate to play a central role in the growth and success of our Executive Search Practice.

The Senior Associate will serve as a key partner to senior team members, providing high-level administrative leadership, project management, research support, and direct client interaction.

The Associate will lead on scheduling efforts for a busy team, coordinating both client and candidate engagement. The Associate will ensure excellence, efficiency and timeliness across every stage of search processes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with campaign, advocacy or executive search experience who wants to apply their skills to building strong organizations and leaders across the progressive space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate all scheduling for the search team, including client meetings, interviews, and internal team meetings.
  • Communicate directly with clients to coordinate meetings, share updates, and ensure a high-quality client experience throughout the search process.
  • Serve as a primary contact for candidates, ensuring smooth, supportive and professional experiences.
  • Partner with staff to track progress across multiple search projects, ensuring deliverables and deadlines are met.
  • Conduct targeted research to identify prospective candidates, organizations, and networks.
  • Draft, edit, and format position descriptions, candidate profiles, client updates, and other written deliverables.
  • Support client communications, including preparing agendas, taking meeting notes, and circulating action items.
  • Maintain accurate and updated candidate and client records in databases and project trackers.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Contribute to process improvements that enhance the efficiency and impact of the search team.
  • Manage other administrative and operational functions for the search team as needed, including CRM updates and ad placement.

  • At least five years of experience in campaigns, advocacy, HR, or project management; experience supporting executive search or recruitment processes a plus.
  • Strong scheduling and calendar management experience, including balancing multiple priorities for senior leaders.
  • Ability to manage projects and processes and support a team in meeting deadlines and deliverables.
  • Superb interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate positive relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including clients and candidates.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and quickly under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sharp attention to detail, high standard of excellence and ability to handle multiple projects and priorities at the same time.
  • Excellent judgment and a high level of discretion.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, problem solve, and anticipate needs
  • Demonstrated commitment to racial, social, and economic justice.
  • Sense of humor; ability to take your work—but not yourself—too seriously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with databases/CRMs.


Structure and Location

This is a full-time, remote position. Preference may be given to candidates in Washington, D.C. or New York City. Must be available to work Eastern time zone hours.

This position reports to the Managing Director of Search and closely collaborates with the entire search team.

Salary & Benefits

The salary range for this position starts at $80,000 and is commensurate with experience.
