**POSITION: Deputy Research Director, Presidential** **LOCATION: Washington, DC with remote work negotiable ** American Bridge 21st Century, a progressive research organization dedicated to holding Republicans accountable for their words and actions, is hiring a **Deputy Research Director for Presidential Campaigns** to join our research team for the 2024 election cycle. The Deputy Research Director will work closely with the Presidential Research Director and manage a team of researchers to conduct opposition research efforts centered on the 2024 presidential race and help oversee research related to paid media. **Primary Responsibilities Include:** - Managing a team of researchers charged with producing opposition research products on candidates involved in the presidential race; - Overseeing research related to paid media campaigns; - Overseeing the team’s collection of information from legislative votes, news clips, campaign finance reports, financial and legal records, and research databases; - Managing and performing rapid response research in coordination with the research director and communications team; - Assisting and training less experienced researchers; and, - Other duties as assigned. ** ** **Qualifications And Requirements:** - At least two election cycles of opposition research employment including at least one cycle at least one cycle working with paid media; - Organizational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines a must; - Expertise in Lexis Nexis, public records research, video research, federal and state databases - Solid proofreading and editing skills; and, - Strong commitment to teamwork.
