Job Description

**Pay:** $25/hour; $26/hour for bilingual English/Spanish **Schedule:** up to 36 hours/week, flexible, some evenings and weekends **Work Location: **San Antonio/Bexar County, Texas We are looking to hire door-to-door canvassers to work on a _temporary _basis in Bexar County, Texas. The position will start on April 3rd and run through the first week of May. **Nature of Work:** The work consists of going to targeted voters’ doors to provide them with information to make a plan to vote and tracking data using free phone applications. Applicants must be able to attend paid training between April 3-4 and work 36 hours per week until May. **Canvasser Requirements:** \- Must be available to work up to 36 hours per week \- Must have a car, valid driver's license, and insurance \- A smartphone (iPhone or Android) with a high or unlimited data package is required \- Strong commitment to politics and progressive values \- A friendly, outgoing personality \- Willing to sign a waiver of liability and follow safety protocols \- Willingness to work individually \- Commitment to meet quantitative goals set forth by the campaign and perform all required reporting protocols \- Previous paid or volunteer canvassing experience, Customer Service, or Sales experience preferred All canvassers will be required to complete Dept. of Homeland Security Form I-9 (employment eligibility) and Internal Revenue Service Form W-9 (to be a 1099 Independent Contractor) and background check.
