Job Description
Rise Political Strategies is seeking a Finance Associate to support its day to day fundraising operations.
Rise is a boutique, woman-owned national political fundraising firm working with Democratic and progressive causes and candidates.
**Responsibilities **
- Assisting with fundraising call time and follow up
- Identifying and researching potential new donors
- Compiling briefings and event materials
- Provide key administrative and organizational support for the team
- Help with planning and execution of events, as needed
- Other responsibilities as required
**Qualifications**
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented, with an interest in democratic fundraising
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment, as well as being able to work independently
- Ability to multitask and work in fast paced environment
- Experience working in NGP and proficiency in excel and Google Sheets is preferred
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Prior campaign finance experience is a plus, but not required - this position is a great opportunity for former field organizers with a desire to learn other aspects of a campaign
The salary for this position is $48,000 annually ($4,000 per month). Applicant must be based in PA (ideally Philadelphia or Pittsburgh) or willing to relocate.
