Job Description

Terán for Congress is seeking a full time Field Organizer to enhance our Field program ahead of the primary election on July 30th, 2024. The Field Organizer should be willing to work long hours, excited about connecting with volunteers on a daily basis, prepared to join an active campaign, and willing to relocate as soon as possible to Phoenix.

**RESPONSIBILITIES **
- Recruiting, managing, and training volunteers to participate in direct voter contact, including but not limited to door-to-door canvassing, voter registration, relational organizing, and event turnout.
- Executing a broad range of visibility events to educate voters about the election and excite potential volunteers to join the campaign.
- Successfully meeting daily, weekly and phase goals for capacity building and voter contact, as well as maintaining data integrity.
- Developing relationships with local party leaders, grassroots organizers, and activists.
- Other responsibilities as needed.

**QUALIFICATIONS **
- Previous organizing experience a plus but not required
- Ability to live and work in-person in Phoenix at minimum through the primary election on July 30, 2024
- Strong ability to build relationships and foster a positive team culture.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure and problem solve effectively and creatively
- Access to a vehicle or other reliable means of transportation
- Proactively fosters an inclusive atmosphere and commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion and multicultural competence
- Personal and professional commitment to promoting and investing in cross-cultural skills and awareness related to individuals from broad backgrounds, races, ethnicities, religions, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity and disability.
- Proficiency in Spanish preferred but not required
