Job Description

Planned Parenthood Advocates of Oregon (PPAO) is hiring a **Field Director **to join our team!

_Planned Parenthood Advocates of Oregon is a leading advocate in the movement for sexual and reproductive freedom for all Oregonians. As the statewide advocacy and political voice for Oregon’s two Planned Parenthood affiliates — Planned Parenthood Columbia Willamette and Planned Parenthood of Southwestern Oregon — we engage in educational campaigns, grassroots organizing, legislative advocacy and other activities to champion people’s reproductive rights and make health care accessible and affordable._

The **Field Director** is responsible for developing and implementing a strategic political field program including grassroots organizing, motivating, training, developing, and mobilizing supporters in key communities across Oregon for effective execution of PPAO and PP PAC of Oregon’s mission. The Field Director reports to the Executive Director, and is the lead on field plans for movement building, candidate campaigns, ballot measures, and grassroots lobbying. They work closely and in coordination with the Political Director to support implementation of PPAO’s strategic political and policy priorities, and the Communications Director on maximizing the effect of the grassroots initiatives on positive visibility. They also manage the field team.

**Compensation: $76,065 – 90,000 **depending on experience.** **

**Location: **This position could be based in **Portland or Eugene** but the work can occur anywhere within the state. Regular travel to Portland and Eugene is required.

**Compensation: $76,065 – 90,000 **depending on experience.

**Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week) **Schedule details will be discussed during the interview process.
_Employees may be requested or required to occasionally work other days (including weekends), hours and locations to meet operational needs._

**Minimum Qualifications:**
- **Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.**
- **Three (3) years’ experience in a related field required, including volunteer recruitment, field operations, union organizing, community organizing, voter registration, campaign data analysis and /or lobbying.**
- **Two (2) years supervisory experience required, which may include supervision of paid staff or volunteers.**
- **Possess a valid driver’s license, have access to a reliable automobile, and maintain proof of personal automobile liability insurance, at a minimum, in the amount required by Oregon Law (ORS Chapter 806).**
