Job Description

Wavelength Strategy is a boutique digital firm dedicated to elevating digital persuasion and paid media strategy for Democratic campaigns and progressive organizations.
In 2024, we are partnering with Democratic candidates up and down the ballot — from local elections and advocacy campaigns to definitive House and Senate races. In this role, your work will be on the frontlines of those important fights.

**We are seeking:** Experienced Graphic Designers or Senior Graphic Designers to produce beautiful, strategic display ads and other design assets on a tight turnaround. Applicants should have experience handling every part of the design process, working with existing brand and style guides, and establishing their own.
This is an election cycle position and will conclude November 2024.

**More about you**
At Wavelength, we pride ourselves on cultivating a mission-driven and empowering environment that sets every member of our team up for success—and we want to work with people who are just as committed to those values. The ideal person for this role:
- Has a proven track record of carrying design projects from initial brief to final product
- Has a strong and intuitive command over typography, color, and visual hierarchy, and how to use them in concert to communicate a message quickly and effectively
- Has an expert-level command of Adobe Photoshop and, to a lesser extent, Illustrator (and to an even lesser extent InDesign, After Effects, Animate)
- Is comfortable with both collaborative work and completely independent projects.
- Enjoys ideation and collaboration, and embraces feedback as part of the production process
- Relishes opportunities to test, iterate, and apply learnings within and across campaigns
- Is eager to grow, learn, try big ideas, share knowledge, and keep up to date with industry best practices and cutting-edge techniques
- Is passionate about Democratic politics and progressive issues

And for the Senior role, all of the above as well as:
- Proven ability to make unique, strategic design choices and produce complete products along rapid timelines for use in advertising
- Experience coaching, guiding, and collaborating with other/more junior creatives on the different aspects of design
- Familiarity with needs and expectations of Democratic political and/or advocacy clients
- Preference for candidates with additional skills in: motion graphics, brand and identity design, HTML5, video
