JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a creative and dynamic Graphic Designer to join our campaign team for Devon, who is running for positions on both the McKenzie School District #68 School Board in Finn Rock, Oregon, and the Lane Education Service District Board of Directors in Lane County, OR. The Graphic Designer will play a crucial role in developing compelling visual content that aligns with our campaign messages, engages our audience, and drives our campaign towards a victorious outcome. Your work will include creating a range of materials such as digital ads, social media graphics, flyers, posters, and other campaign collateral. This is a unique opportunity to contribute your skills towards meaningful educational initiatives and be part of a passionate team dedicated to making a difference in our community.

***SALARY IS BASED ON FUNDS RAISED***

Responsibilities:

  • Design and produce a wide array of creative and visually engaging materials for both print and digital platforms.

  • Collaborate with the communications and digital teams to develop cohesive designs that reflect the campaign's branding and messaging strategies.

  • Manage multiple projects from concept through completion under tight deadlines.

  • Provide creative direction and insights to enhance the campaign’s visual and brand identity.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Art, or a related field. A degree will not be required if you have the relevant experience.

  • Proven graphic designing experience with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills in both digital and print media.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).

  • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.

  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.

  • Up-to-date with the latest graphic design trends, techniques, and technologies.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • A passion for political campaigns and a commitment to education-related issues is highly desirable.
