About the Race
North Carolina is home to over 560,000 college students across over 100 college campuses, including 10 HBCUs. Young voters have the numbers and the power to shape the future of our state through leadership in the electoral process. And in a state like North Carolina, even a small increase in student voter turnout could shape our state for years to come.
That’s why we’re building ** Rally NC** - an entrepreneurial and innovative operation to protect and expand democracy by elevating youth leadership across the state in order to empower thousands of college students to take control of their futures, get organized, and vote in the 2024 elections. We're done waiting for change. We're ready to make it happen.
Rally NC is part of a collection of state-based organizations working to mobilize student voters through creative, student-driven tactics.
What Will You Do?
Fellows will work with Campus Organizers to build a movement on campus to mobilize students for North Carolina’s 2024 elections. This is an excellent opportunity to get an inside look at how political campaigns work, while contributing to critical elections in 2024.

Fellows will spend** 15 hours a week** mobilizing on their campus by doing everything from leading events and volunteer recruitment to talking to students about the importance of the upcoming elections for issues like reproductive rights, climate change, democracy, and economic justice. Tactics include high-traffic canvassing, tabling, door-to-door canvassing, class/student organization visits, and text/phone/DM banks.** This is a paid fellowship.**
