JOB DESCRIPTION

Account Associate

Content Media Co is looking to hire a new Account Associate. This role will be responsible for working day-to-day on the paid media operations for various Democratic, Labor, and non-profit campaigns at the at all levels.

Responsibilities for this role will include:

  • Writing direct mail, digital advertisements, and web copy when necessary;

  • Work with our printers, designers, and editors to ensure all communication is on schedule and on budget;

  • Manages our project management hub to ensure all work is moving on time for clients;

  • Joining weekly calls with clients to provide updates on paid media campaign timelines, progress, etc.; and

  • Managing clients and staff where necessary.

Salary range is $3,500 - $5,000 per month depending on experience level, with the potential of up to two months bonus at the end of the cycle. The position is in-person at our office in downtown Washington, DC.

Requirements

Qualifications for this role are:

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented;

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;

  • Willingness to work long hours; and

  • Positive attitude and task-oriented.

  • There will be a strong preference for candidates with prior digital placement experience.

  • Basic computer skills, some familiarity with AI software, and a working understanding of politics and public issues.

  • Understanding of social media platforms including in the political space like Action Network, Mailchimp, ActBlue, etc.

Additional Skills (preferred not required)

- Basic use of canva and/or photoshop

- Basic video editing

- Bilingual

- Basic understanding of spreadsheets and metrics
