Position: Finance and Call Time Manager
Reports to: Candidate
Salary: $4,000 - $6,000 per month
Location: Colorado
Start date: January 6th, 2025
About the position: A candidate for a statewide elected position in Colorado is seeking a dynamic, dedicated, hard-working individual to run an aggressive fundraising operation to help the Progressive Democratic Candidate get elected to office. The Finance and Call Time Manager will work closely with senior staff, the candidate, and other stakeholders to execute a cycle fundraising plan in 2025-2026.
The Finance and Call Time Manager's job is to ensure that the candidate is making fundraising calls successfully and executes the major and small-dollar donor fundraising plan for the campaign. Additionally, they will assist with donor communication to follow up on commitments and conversations.
The Finance and Call Time Manager is responsible for directing, managing, and providing all
support for candidate call time, including making sure call sheets are ready for call time by researching and producing accurate call sheets, prioritizing and managing all call lists, creating all briefing materials on donors, staffing the candidate during call time, and ensuring swift and effective execution of fundraising goals; logging all activity in the NGP software system; chasing pledges and ensuring completion of all donor follow-up to daily call time calls via email, letter, and phone communication. The Finance and Call Time Manager will also assist senior staff and the candidate with executing all aspects of a fundraising events program.
Duties include but are not limited to:

Direct, manage, and implement all aspects of the candidate’s call time operation, including meeting assigned goals, creating call sheets, organizing outreach, staffing, and coaching the candidate, tracking results, and managing data;

Direct and manage donor and prospect call time follow-up, including scheduling future calls, pledge, chase, and relational outreach;

Complete research on donor prospects and manage the prospecting program;

Report out results of call time; including actual donor contact, hard and soft pledge totals, and overall performance statistics;

Assist with drafting major donor fundraising emails and communications;

Assist with scheduling, preparing for, and executing fundraising events

Ability to work non-traditional hours as needed;

Travel with Candidate as needed;

Create fundraising materials and assist in remaining compliant with all state and federal finance laws

Any other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
-
Minimum of one cycle of related fundraising experience with a state or national committee, political campaign, or non-profit organization;

A basic understanding of campaign finance laws;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

Experience with donor management software such as NGP;
-
Ability and willingness to work long irregular hours, including travel in and out of state;

Experience with small, mid, and large event/project planning.

Strong commitment to electing Democrats to state government.

Exemplary time management, planning, and organizational skills.

Detail-oriented and able to prioritize and manage multiple projects.

Salary: Salary is $4,000 - $6,000 per month. Healthcare stipend also provided.
