JOB DESCRIPTION

The Elect Katie Hobbs campaign is seeking a full-time Deputy Finance Director to work with the campaign through the 2026 election cycle. The Deputy Finance Director will play an integral role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the fundraising team. This position will directly report to the Finance Director and is a unique opportunity to obtain significant experience in all aspects of political fundraising on a top-tier gubernatorial campaign.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with all members of the finance staff to execute the finance plan

• Manage junior level finance staff and support mid level staff

• Build national events and support national events built by the consultant team

• Oversee major in state events

• Staff the principal for in state and national travel as needed

• Other responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

• Detail oriented self-starter with multiple campaign cycles of fundraising experience

• Proficiency in fundraising databases such as NGP

• Strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership of wide-ranging responsibilities

• Ability to manage multiple priorities at once, meet key deadlines, and work in fast-paced environment

• Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills

• Access to cell phone, laptop, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation
