JOB DESCRIPTION

ABOUT US

The Pipeline Fund is working toward a reflective democracy where skilled, diverse, community leaders are fully supported to run for office, run campaigns, and advance progressive policies that address the urgent needs of all Americans. Founded in 2018 by a group of philanthropists to explore ways to strengthen the pipeline of progressive candidates, the Pipeline Fund provides the funding, data, and coordination necessary to scale and connect the work of existing pipeline groups.

The Pipeline Fund is focused on building the pipeline of leaders from underrepresented communities, including women, BIPOC, young, LGBTQ+, working class, and new Americans. We accomplish this by (1) convening national and state pipeline organizations regularly to build community and to share best practices; (2) providing pipeline-building organizations with the data and tools they need to do their work more effectively; and (3) providing direct funding and strategic support to existing organizations to recruit, train, and support diverse leaders in key states.

The Pipeline network includes the Pipeline Fund (a 501(c)(4)), the Pipeline Education Fund (a non-partisan 501(c)(3)), and the Pipeline Initiative (a nonprofit corporation).
