Description
Working Class Heroes Fund is seeking a Digital Director/Social Media Manager to support working-class pro-labor candidates. A successful applicant will be a self-starter, detail-oriented and highly organized, with a proven record of leadership skills and innovation.
WCHF was founded by labor leader and independent Senate candidate Dan Osborn.
Overview
The Digital Director/Social Media Manager will be a key member of the campaign team, responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive digital strategy to reach voters and build support for the candidate.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive digital strategy, including social media, email, online advertising, and website management.

Manage all aspects of the campaign's social media presence, including content creation, community engagement, and paid social media advertising.

Develop and execute targeted email campaigns, including fundraising appeals, voter mobilization efforts, and event invitations.

Manage the campaign website and ensure it is user-friendly, informative, and mobile-responsive.

Track and analyze campaign data to measure the effectiveness of digital efforts and identify areas for improvement.

Stay up-to-date on the latest digital trends and best practices in political campaigning.
Requirements
Qualified candidates will have a passion for digital campaigning and a strong understanding of social media platforms and online advertising. They will demonstrate:

Proven experience in developing and executing successful digital campaigns, preferably in a political context.

Strong understanding of social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok) and their respective audiences.

Experience with email marketing platforms and best practices.

Proficiency in content creation, including writing, graphic design, and video production.

Experience with data analysis and campaign tracking tools.

Strong project management and organizational skills.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Willingness to work non-traditional hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
