Hockeystick Data is a mission-driven fundraising data firm serving Democratic campaigns seeking a skilled individual with a passion for making a difference to join our team. Our clients are statewide and local political campaigns, PACs, advocates, non-profits, and changemaking companies working to build progressive power in America.

Job Overview:

Hockeystick Data is hiring a Data Associate to serve as a key member of our team. The Data Associate and plays a critical role in supporting our clients and in addition to work as assigned, is generally responsible for the following:

Cleaning, reformatting, and cutting contact lists based on contact attributes

Ad hoc data requests and analysis projects as needed

Requirements

Experience we look for:

Passion for good causes, whether candidates or other;

1+ years of work experience, ideally with experience in digital fundraising;

1+ year of experience with SQL at a basic to intermediate level (aggregating columns, joining tables, data cleaning);

1+ year of experience with Python at a basic to intermediate level (experience with common libraries such as Pandas and NumPy is a plus);

1+ years of experience with Google Sheets or Excel;

Experience with Looker or Tableau;

Ability to independently troubleshoot technical issues and excellent quantitative reasoning skills;

The ability to juggle multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment;

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position is $60,000.
