JOB DESCRIPTION: A New York City Mayoral Campaign is looking to hire a Political Director. Please find the responsibilities below:
- Develop and execute the campaign’s political strategy to build coalitions and secure endorsements.
- Cultivate relationships with elected officials, community leaders, unions, and advocacy organizations.
- Represent the campaign at political events, forums, and meetings.
- Advise the candidate on key policy positions and ensure alignment with stakeholder priorities.
- Coordinate with the field team to identify and target key voting blocs.
- Track political developments and provide strategic guidance to adapt campaign efforts.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the campaign and political allies.
