JOB DESCRIPTION

Democratic Congressman Josh Harder is hiring a ** Finance Associate** for his re-election

campaign. The Finance Associate reports to our Finance Director and will help manage one of

the largest congressional finance programs in the country, for one of the most competitive

campaigns in the country. This is a junior level role perfect for someone passionate about

democratic politics and excited to gain campaign experience.

The role is hybrid and based out of Northern California. Candidates must have access to a

car and the ability to staff events in San Joaquin County and the Bay Area.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Staff the Congressman during call time

● Lead call time strategy including preparation and executing follow-up

● Spearhead donor outreach, and serve as point of contact with top stakeholders

● With Finance Director, assist with finance plan to strategically grow fundraising operation

● Assist with development and execution of fundraising events

● Manage finance database and oversee data entry

● Other duties as needed (we're an “all-hands on deck” team!)

QUALIFICATIONS:

● Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills

● Thrive in a fast paced environment where every day is different

● A passion for electing democrats and winning back the House majority

● Work experience in fundraising or democratic politics valued but not required

● Reliable access to an automobile required while in California. All work-related

driving is reimbursed.
