About the Position: Bantam Communications seeks a highly skilled and motivated Strategist to join our vibrant team. As the campaign strategist, you will have a pivotal role in leading, developing, and managing comprehensive campaign strategies focused on obtaining permits for our client’s utility-scale wind, solar, and storage projects nationwide. The ideal candidate should possess robust analytical and strategic thinking skills, along with a deep understanding of community and stakeholder engagement campaign tactics within the renewable energy sector.

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Development: Devise and implement innovative campaign strategies to secure permits for utility-scale renewable energy projects nationwide.

• Client and Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with clients and other stakeholders to develop and implement aligned campaign tactics that support their project objectives. Foster trusted relationships through effective communication, strategic presentations, and responsive follow-up that drive successful outcomes.

• Political Landscape Understanding: Demonstrate a deep understanding of political landscapes including elected officials, advocacy and non-profit organizations, and related dynamics, employing this knowledge to inform strategic decision-making.

• Communication Excellence: Possess excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey campaign messages and objectives to clients, internal teams, and communities involved.

• Campaign Oversight: Oversee the implementation of short-term and long-term strategic recommendations across each client project. Ensure successful community sentiment and smooth government approvals.

• Internal Coordination: Collaborate across departments to ensure campaign strategies are consistently implemented and fully aligned with overall objectives, maintaining cohesion throughout all aspects of client projects.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or related experience

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in campaign strategy, public affairs, community relations, or related field

• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing successful strategic campaigns

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to present complex information clearly

• Experience in a client-facing role, consulting firm, or multi-client environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience specifically with wind, solar, or energy storage projects

• Strong understanding of the renewable energy sector and permitting processes for utility-scale projects

• Track record of successful permit approvals for energy projects

• Experience managing multiple campaigns simultaneously

• Background in stakeholder engagement and community outreach
