JOB DESCRIPTION
Faith Bondy for NYC Council seeks a full-time Field Director to develop and lead a dynamic, data-driven field program for her 2025 City Council Campaign in Manhattan’s 4th District. This position offers the opportunity to play a central role in developing a winning strategy for an impactful grassroots campaign in a competitive open primary. The ideal candidate will have experience running field operations, familiarity with New York City politics, and a deep understanding of the issues that matter to local communities. Experience in Manhattan is a plus. Candidates should be prepared to start full-time in April 2025, with the role continuing through the primary in late June and the possibility of extending through November 2025.
Primary Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive voter contact strategy with the Campaign Manager and consultants.

Lead voter identification, petitioning, and Get Out The Vote (GOTV) efforts.

Recruit, train, and manage volunteers and fellows.

Cut turf in VAN to support effective voter outreach.
Required Qualifications:

Advanced proficiency in VAN. Including the ability to cut complex universes and manage data effectively, knowledge of how to create voter lists for voter outreach

At least one complete cycle of experience as a Field Organizer, Regional Field Director, or Field Director.

Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (both written and verbal).

Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:

Previous campaign experience in New York City.

Previous experience with field programs in locked apartment-dense districts

Proficiency in Reach, Spoke Text/ThruText, and ThruTalk/CallHub.
Location: Hybrid — remote and in-person in Manhattan’s 4th City Council District. ( You will need to live within reasonable commuting distance to the district but do not need to live in the district)
