JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

• Engage in direct voter contact through door-to-door canvassing, high-traffic canvassing, phone calls, and peer-to-peer outreach

• Network persistently and creatively with active voters in turf to build neighborhood-based volunteer teams

• Follow up swiftly and effectively with current and prospective volunteers through regular phone calls and meetings

• Recruit, train and manage volunteers engaging in canvassing, petitioning, phone banking and peer-to-peer outreach

• Attend and staff the candidate at house parties and fundraisers in NYC.

• Represent the campaign as necessary at club meetings and public events in turf

• Oversee or delegate signage distribution and display throughout turf

• Hit and exceed weekly/daily numerical performance goals

• Regularly and faithfully record data daily in campaign databases

• Other duties as assigned

• Willing to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends

• Previous political or customer service experience is a plus

• Current driver’s license and access to a vehicle is a plus
